- Who are the classes for?
Classes are aimed at adult dancers (16 and over).
There are three levels:
beginner (this is for you if you have never done tap before)
improvers (for you if you have some tap experience and wish to continue learning new steps and rhythms)
intermediate/advanced (take this class if you are fairly proficient in tap and wish to improve your skills)

- What shoes do I need?
- Tapshoes or character shoes with toe and heel taps. Alternatively, ask a shoemaker to fit taps to an old pair of "oxford" style leather shoes. Taps are available from Dance World. See 'Links' for further details. Bring your shoes with you so that you can get the correct size - DO NOT accept Irish Dancing Taps which have a horseshoe shape.

- What should I wear?
- Clothing that allows freedom of movement. During the winter months be sure to wear layers of clothes that can be removed as you warm up.
